Can I meet you please?

I am Adesina “Shine” Adeyemi, a full time realtor based in Atlanta, born into the families of a Nigerian father from Kogi State and a Beninese mother.

You have been a real time player in the Atlanta Realty industry, can you shed more light on  your Company please?
I am the founder of “Shine Sells Atlanta”, an Atlanta based real estate firm under the brokerage of Keller Williams Realty. We initially started as a Property Management firm around 2012 and then became a full blown Real Estate team with Agents focusing on Residential Home Buyers, Sellers and Investors in 2014.

How long have you been in this industry, if we may know?

Technically, this is our 5th year in Business, but because a bulk of our business comes from investors who are very demanding and work us a lot, I would say we have learn't so much within a short while and it would be safe to say we’ve been doing this for over a decade.

This property is for investor's grab in the heart of Atlanta

Why should anyone especially prospective Nigerian home buyers choose Atlanta?
Great question, I get asked this question all the time. Atlanta is such a unique market and there are so many reasons behind this. First, it is currently the #1 US rental market for Landlords (Forbes Magazine), Atlanta is the 4th best city in the US to invest in (CNN Money), it is considered the 2nd best American city to relocate, it is the #1 least costly US city to do business, Atlanta is home to the World’s busiest Airport by Passenger count, Our city is the global headquarters of top companies like Delta Airlines, Coca-Cola, CNN, UPS, to name a few. You can see there are so many factors driving folks to Atlanta and reasons why it is a great place to invest.
Any investor who invests in this property will make great returns

What differentiates your firm of realty from others in your industry?
We are a unique firm in the sense that 80% of our business is based on word of mouth referral; we do not buy our leads. Past clients refer friends and family and this is usually the safest and most credible referral system, 60% of our business comes from foreign investors, clients based in the UK, UAE and Nigeria. We have grown our business around these people and know what they need, our service is customizable to suit and fit every client. We work pro actively to under promise and over deliver at all times.

How affordable are these properties you sell?
We try as much as possible to accommodate all our clients’ needs. We have helped investors looking to spend a typical $180K, we have also helped elite class clients who prefer to live in the most luxurious parts of Atlanta with the average price of homes at $2 million plus.

Who are your prospective clients in Nigeria?
Anyone looking to purchase US properties either for the purposes of investment or leisure (vacation homes). We sell investment homes that are strategically used for long and short term rentals.

Let us digress a bit, what do you think Trump’s victory mean for your industry and prospective African Home buyers?
There are lots of mixed feelings in our industry over Trump’s victory. However, because of his love for Real Estate, many people believe we may be at an advantage. We really hope he will do something about our high taxes, that will be favorable.

Our experience of the Real estate market proves that government cannot significantly affect the market, the number one factor that affects the market is price and price is determined by demand and supply. African home buyers need not worry; we are here to make the home buying experience as easy and hassle free as possible.

Where is your office in Nigeria?

We do not have an Office that is strictly dedicated to providing our service and staffed solely by us however, what we have is a partnership with other Nigerian based Real estate firms that stock our marketing materials and can serve as a face to our business if need be. We have such strategic partnership with a Law Office in Ogudu, Lagos, Nigeria and another in the Gudu district of Abuja. We’re capable of flying to our client’s location to consult.

How can a prospective home buyer in Nigeria or any part of the world contact you for business?
The easiest and fastest way to reach us is through our interactive website; www.buyluxproperty.com, a prospect can fill out the form on our “Contact us” page and we will normally get in touch with them within 24 hours or less depending on their time zone. We are also very active on Whatsapp +14047215024. Social media folks can follow us on Instagram for more info @buyluxproperty

What are your final words?

As stated earlier, 80% of our business is based on word of mouth referral, this fact speaks for itself. Our clients trust us and are comfortable enough to refer our service. Some of our investors have never visited the US. We have sold the most homes during the current recession in Nigeria, isn’t that a surprise? Even with the current exchange rates, the few savvy investors have figured out the fact that the earlier they invest and start enjoying monthly returns in dollars, the better for them.

Contact us today and we will take care of your Real estate needs. Thanks for having us!
